Northern Vermont Region Women’s Program present this Skiing, Riding and Toboggan Enhancement event!
Join us for an empowering day at Jay Peak, with a focus on Skiing/Riding and Toboggan handling in bumps and glades. Whether you’re a seasoned ski patroller or someone looking to refine your skills, this event offers a supportive environment to build confidence and enhance your skills.
What to Expect:
Skiing/Riding Skill Development: Work on your technique to improve your speed, control, and in bumps and glades. Work on specific skills to enhance your toboggan handling experience. Coaching for different skill levels will ensure you get the most out of the day.
Toboggan Handling: Learn and practice safe, effective toboggan handling techniques in bumps and glades under the guidance of experienced trainers.
Networking Opportunities: Connect with other women in the ski patrol and skiing communities, share experiences, and build lasting relationships.
Who Should Attend:
This event is open to all women—cisgender, transgender, and nonbinary individuals who are comfortable in a space centered on women’s experiences. Experience in bumps and glades is encouraged.
